Mosque and Islamic Centre Project

The Muslim Society is actively working to establish the first Mosque and Islamic Centre on Prince Edward Island. It will be known as “Greater Charlottetown Mosque and Islamic Community Centre.” For proposed architect’s concept of the Centre Click Here.

With Allah's help, and then with the support of the Muslim community in PEI and across North America, the Muslim Society of PEI was able to buy a piece of land. Insha Allah, this is the site of the future Greater Charlottetown Mosque and Islamic Community Centre.The land is 0.78 acre and is located on 15 MacAleer Drive. (See map below)

The Muslim Society of PEI would like to thank all the donors who donated so generously to help us purchase the land. May Allah(SWT) reward you in this world and in the Hereafter. (Ameen).

Insha Allah, the next step will be the construction of the Centre. The Muslim Society urges each member of the community in PEI and across North America to continue their donations to this blessed project and to continue their Dua. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations.
 
Phase 2: Building the Islamic Centre

We are now beginning Phase 2: Building the Islamic Centre. Alhamdu Lillah,  the construction of the Mosque is underway. Insha Allah, we are hoping to finish it by March 2012. For that we still need your help and that of other brothers like you. So far we have raised close to $236,000. The cost of the project is close to $400,000. Once again, we are reaching out to you, to ask for your help.
